Planning on buying my first can this week! It’ll be going on a CZ Scorpion Evo, so it’ll be a dedicated 9mm SBR carbine suppressor. Which of these would you guys recommend? I know Surefire and Silencerco are top notch quality, but I haven’t heard much about Griffin before.

Silencer Shop reviewed them both favorably - no surprise.
They did note how well the Griffin performed in the K configuration. That’s not an option with the Octane.
The Griffin also supports a 9mm 3 lug adapter which would be very nice on your 9mm SBR.

I voted Griffin. I have both the Octane 9 & 45. They share pistons and some (maybe all?) mounts with the Griffins. The Griffin 3-lug doesn’t make the can near as long as the SiCo version. The Griffin baffles have a coating on them to assist with cleaning, as well as RTZ technology for a more repeatable performance. I also like the Griffin FBS better than the SiCo version. The K-config is just a bonus feature to me.
Griffin’s Rev9 is IMO the best pistol can on the market, not saying the Octane or Osprey are bad at all. I have one of the first ones and it’s been awesome, and as BigWaylon has mentioned it has quite a few advantages over anything else out there.
They both can take a three lug. The Revolution’s adapter is a better design doesn’t add length to the can. The Octanes adds about an inch.
The Revolution also has TiN coated baffles that make cleaning much easier.
The Griffin is the clear choice here. More features and just as quiet.
My wording was a little clumsy.
I wasn’t trying to imply the Octane couldn’t. Just that the Griffin also supports a three lug as well as a K config.

Octane 9 HD. You can buy a direct thread adapter from SilencerCo for the CZ Scorpion’s goofy 18x1 thread. For your intended use this makes the most sense.
Just fyi, the mounts on these models are interchangable.
Goofy?? You best Czech yourself. Nah, seriously that is a terrible thread pitch and I was a bit sad to see the Bren 805 has an odd duck pitch as well.
Probably my only ‘dafuq’ moment when I unboxed mine. The ambi-selector is a bit in the way and a few other minor complaints but that is probably the biggest complaint I have out of the box anyway.
