Well I must say, it has been quite awhile since I was this impressed with an unsuppressed to suppressed sound signature change in a centerfire rifle cartridge. Not to mention the felt reduced recoil. This 338 Lapua was a joy to shoot without ears and I would love to spend a day in the vast open west shooting all day, if I could only afford it! I hope you enjoy the review. I’ve been trying to edit the videos shorter due to our ever reducing attention span ![]()
Seems nobody here shoots long range.
Some of us do.
I’m on vacation and can’t watch your video in the boonies. I have been eyeing the harvester for a savage for some time.
Always enjoy your reviews Fireman.
I too, have been eyeing the Harvester for a 300 Win Mag that has been sitting for awhile.
That integral brake seems to knock down recoil better than I was expecting.
Yeah I really don’t care for the looks of the brake but hey…it works!
Take that baby to Manatee and see what it can do!
I am interested in the Harvestor .30 cal, can’t get over how lightweight it is for a can of its size BUT I realize it is because of the stainless steel baffles. What do you think the limit is for the construction holding up on a semi 5.56 or .308 precision set-up?
Here’s a vid from Silencerco & Silencer Shop, advising the application of the Harvester in a rapid fire or mag-dump scenario.

The Harvester 30 is more than good enough for your requirements Jerry. This is truly a great time to be in the NFA game.
