What is the best sight for a 223 used in three gun? Looking at the Aimpoints and Eotechs. Want to get a high quality unit that is versatile. I currently use the rifle for recreational shooting and home defense but I am intrigued by 3 gun and may try a few local shoots for fun and practice shooting.
An EOTech or Aimpoint will probably serve you well. If you continue to participate in 3G you will probably want to consider one of the many 1-4 variables optics.
A lot of it will come down to what kind of money you want/have to spend.

A lot of info out there to digest, which one works better for a person that may wear contacts or glasses. I know with regular scopes on my hunting rifles it is a huge difference between shooting with my contacts versus glasses because of eye relief.
