Two things children these days rarely exhibit - silence or respect.
Thankfully she was on a “work paid” trip to Arlington for Living Independently Forever, Inc. and they placed Stone and her co-worker on unpaid leave pending an internal investigation.
Hopefully they will be fired.
I’d not ever serve this nation of human refuse again, frankly I’m ashamed that I once did! Her actions pair well with the majority that just re-elected the absolute worst scum-bag possible, to be their “ahh” leader!
I don’t want her apologies, nor those of any of the other millions of cretins that make up the national democratic socialist party. Her actions were all the honesty that you’ll ever recieve…
And people say the days of torches and pitch forks were a bad thing . . .

I’m not sure how posing for that picture and then making the statement that “OBVIOUSLY we meant NO disrespect” are supposed to go together.
Parents of yesteryear hoped their children would exhibit some sort of decorum in public and private moments.
The children of said parents apparently didn’t get the lesson, nor did many of them even try to pass it on to their offspring.
I’m sure she’ll scream that it was meant to be a private photo and sue her employer. I hope to hell they have a decent lawyer that will chop her suit into finely diced pieces of trash. Which would go nicely with her behavior.
I don’t think I’d want to help a person like her.
Be more than happy to help a “gun guy” who thinks he can be a better dealer than what is currently available in his zip code. But that’s a very different kind of person.

She was obviously never taught or she didn’t care to learn why this kind of “humor” isn’t acceptable. That is why she thought nothing of doing it while on a work paid trip to Arlington. That is why she also thought nothing of sharing the picture and putting it on facebook.
She probably doesn’t understand or believe she did anything wrong. And in her mind she probably doesn’t comprehend her actions were disrespectful or she simply doesn’t care. In either case she is now simply trying to save her job and is saying the things “she believes” will “fix things” because she really obviously doesn’t understand or care about why people are offended.
And as someone previously mentioned, she is just one of a nation of millions who were raised so poorly that they don’t even understand basic concepts of what is and isn’t acceptable in polite society. I almost regret “knowing better”, it is now almost a burden.
I made the mistake of following that link and, just to go the extra mile, read some of the comments to the article at the bottom of the page.

So… she gets fired. Then she has a hard time finding a job because no one wants to hire her because of her public image. Then she draws unemployment, and lives off of welfare for a unknown amount of time.

If she was fired for cause how would she get unemployment? Unemployment is for people who were laid off without cause…IE business laying people off or going out of business.
Not completely true. She gets fired and MAYBE a couple other people figure it out and learn from her example. The only thing that could be worse is for her to get away with it and others learn THAT example.
Additionally unemployment is HALF of your former income and if she owns a home she won’t be qualifying for anything like welfare.

If i was on a Company paid trip regardless of where we were at, i would dare not put a middle finger in any picture. That is just risky.

I was taught to never hit a woman, but I would have no qualms about giving her an asswhooping for that. Her parents obviously never gave her one, she is in serious need of one.
