Anybody get there hands on one of these yet, Not the 3 gun heavy but the DMR. Sig says there shipping but Distributor say’s they haven’t seen them. Anybody have any news on this rifle I would appreciate it.
This forum is not exactly a hotbed of SIG activity. Check with Sigforum.com if you can tolerate the petty tyrants that run the place.
They had one at the Sig Academy when I was there a few weeks ago. A few of the instructors said they were shooting around 1/2 MOA.

He uses Sigs in 5.56mm and 7.62 with great accuracy results.
I had one ordered from my local L/E dealer, and they called a couple of weeks ago to tell me it had come in. They had several more come in all were L/E rifles, and were already spoken for. So they are being shipped, I have been to busy to get to the range with it. It appears like a quality rifle.
I have yet to see one in person. I am wanting to see one. I have the 516 Patrol and it is a great rifle. The 716 DMR looks to be very promising.
Did not have much time, but after barrel break in I managed to shoot this one group before I had to leave the range. 5 shots 100 yards, off sand bags, Federal Match 175 Gr Sierra, looks like the rifle has possibilities. Somehow the picture got posted upside down SORRY, I am not the best at this.
I do think I will add a break to the rifle, just have to figure out which one to get that will be the most effective.
Definitely meets my standards. Nice shooting.
Got to see one today. It may shoot well, but its on the heavy side of things.
