Sig "first responder discount?"

Has anybody used this discount? I’m active duty .mil so I’m strongly considering buying a Sig 226 if i can get a good deal on one from the factory through this program.

Anybody who has used this program, what kind of discount did you get? I figured I’d ask here before I took the time to call tomorrow.

Not sure which you are talking about but authorized dealers have LE/Mil prices which are very good compared to retail. If you are talking about an actual rebate the $100 rebate ended Dec 09’. I think the 2010 incentive is $100 in accessories for pistols, $200 for rifles.

I’m referring to the actual LE/MIL pricing. So in order to get the LE/MIL pricing I dont have to go through sig them selves?

I wonder if a copy of my id from the churches security team would get me a discount on a M11.
:haha:

That letter from the Preacher sure seems to help the people get out of jail sooner

Is this discount similiar to glocks homeland security discount in that it applies to firefighters and paramedics?

Don’t quote me on the MIL pricing but at least for LE if you contact Sig directly they will deal directly but may refer you to one of the dealers within your region that has true LE pricing, same as Sig Sauer direct.

This is the LE pricing list for individual Officer purchase, so you know if a LE dealer is actually offering true LE pricing. Again not 100% sure on the MIL side of it. http://www.sigsauer.com/upFiles/CmsContent/documents/2010%20IOP%20Pricing.pdf

Wow, if the MIL prices are the same as the LE prices, it’s a done deal, im going with a 226 E2. Thanks for posting that surf.
