Has anyone tried Sidearmor holsters for IWB or AIWB? Are they any good?
I have Sidearmor IWB holster for the 1911 and G26/27 and used to have one for a G20 (THAT was a pantload). They are very well designed and very well made IMO.
I use a Sidearmor IWB holster for my G19, and love it. It’s the best kydex holster available, IMO. I only wish they made them for more pistols! Currently, they only offer Glock, 1911, FN57, and XD.

I have one I ordered for a 1911 from the Gunsite Proshop back when they were pushing Side Armor. I like mine fine. No issues.
Can you use the Sidearmor for appendix carry?
I have an OWB 1911 holster from them. Very well made, solid, cleanly functional.
I have not found the copy (for a G27) I had with a straight drop very comfortable or concealable for AIWB. They work well at 3:30 IMO.
I picked one up in 05 for a 1911 w/X200 because they were one of the few makers producing the setup I needed. Mine is an OWB that sits pretty close to the body and it’s very well made. I still use it when I shot that 1911 too. I don’t have any experience with their IWB models but the company was great and CS at the time was excellent as well.
I have to say that the above is exactly my circumstance.
I rock a 1911 with light and they were the only option I could find.
The pricing is acceptable and the quality is top shelf.
That’s a big yes! If you’re right-handed, purchase a right-handed holster, but also get a 15 degree left handed belt loop. This will give you about a 10 degree negative cant, and it works like a charm!

Very good quality but I stopped buying them awhile ago because delivery times were spotty. i don’t know if that has changed.
Bump? I’m trying to find a 1911 w/ X300 holster and these came up.
Whats the benefit of the Sidearmor holster vs say a raven concealment? Why purchase one over the other? Your thoughts?
That’s what I’m wondering. I’ve seen nothing but rave from RCS, but the wait time is friggin’ ridiculous. Plus I have one pancake style holster already that I’m struggling with a bit.
Thread is two years old and doesn’t did not meant to address your type of inquiry. Do another search, the topic of a holster for light mounted pistols have been addressed.
