Got some GI issue safariland holsters for my 92FS that are triple retention that I like. Thigh length. Yeah they kind of look ‘tacticool’ but they’re the only kind I was able to wear without discomfort for long periods of time.

Same way I carry it now. In a quality holster on a quality belt. What reason would there be to carry it an different?
In my green zone it would be in a Belt Holster concealed under a light cover garment, I do not wish to advertise my abilities until need be. I may or may not have a rifle slung if working outside but it would be with in arms reach if grounded.
If on active patrol then it would be exposed holstered on my plate carrier.
In the same leather thumb break OWB holster and belt I carry and train with.
The mission drives the gear.
The situation may/will dictate or drive the mission.
The answers are going to be the same as before, the situation is fluid, dynamic & evolving.
It’s NOT going to be like a civil society we are used to.

We have all mentioned. I guess the carry I’m least likely to use would be a open topped thigh holster.
I learned the hard way that while trying to low crawl or just crawl into a over watch my holster became a fricking shovel. Packed itself with dirt every dam time.
I did switch to an older GI leather holster with the top that snapped on a small brass peg. That seemed to at least keep the fluff from loading my holster with dirt twigs deer shit etc etc.
Eventually I went back to a regular Dan blocker leather belt holster up high on my right hip. No more problems.

It depends - just like it does now
- concealed to blend in with the area?
- back-up in close proximity?
- Simple - open-carry - to avoid looking like a weak target
- visible long gun - to enhance the previous
- Patrol - cop / military look - to further prepare / avoid threats
And at the end of the day - IF I am forced to take a life with the tool that I chose to have available … can I be justified in the use of the tool? (someone please link the other threads that talked about that - because I see a circular pattern here)
Holster on a belt covered when low pro. Holster on my LBE for extra security when it gets bad with plenty of mags for my handgun and primary. 
I think some people have too much time on their hands and are overthinking some very basic shit that anyone who has carried a gun for any length of time should know.
Or maybe I am just overly cynical tonight.
I think that is a valid question. Few people have actually needed to carry 24/7 for a very extended period of time. I am not talking about LEOs that carry for work. I am talking about people who are getting ready to get into a a firefight at any moment.
Mission and situation does dictate the situation. I like a a good kydex OTB holster for 90% of the time. The other 10% I wear my war belt with a drop down belt. Over the years I have found that thigh holsters rub after extended periods of time.
What ever works as the situation dictates. I make sure I have various options at any given time. No one ever died from having too many options, only too few, is my mantra.
Gun, thank you for your SAGE observation. If you would like to contribute I’d enjoy hearing how you cleverly concealed your weapon while in support of the warriors oconus.

My gun stays in a Galco Fletch.
Most likely a kydex belt holster or my Supertuck. Either one would be a viable option.
The only thing I can see being an issue is the kydex holster with a plate carrier, but I haven’t had a chance to go shoot wearing everything since I was given the armor so I guess it will depend on that.
I’d prefer the kydex holster over anything though because I can leave the TLR1 on the gun and it’s more comfortable than IWB.
Perhaps…lol.
I plan to carry mine in whatever fashion I can. Tucked into me skivvies if I have to.
I always wear my pistol. On one occasion while swimming, oftentimes while sleeping. While driving cross country… Ask Seth.
Lesson? Carrying a gun is easy.
If the SHTF I’ll be carrying IWB. Maybe OWB.

You mean something like, carry it the way you normally do?
Concealed if you don’t want people to know your armed, how your armed, etc. If carrying a rifle or other combat set up then might as well put it out in the open for easy access.
Would rather just not be seen.
