As for treaties our government enters into being beneficial for US citizens, they damn well better be or they shouldn’t be ratified, and if the treaty in question ceases to be beneficial then we should shit can it. America first is a great guiding principal for a government of Americans that should be for Americans.

NATO points out how stupid the people are that run our government. Was NATO a good thing for the cold war, yes it was. But the cold war ended and NATO kept right on going. Under Clinton Putin asked to join NATO, I think it would have been a wise move to let Russia join both NATO and even the EU if they wanted to.
But instead the USA on multiple occasions promised first Yeltsin and the Putin that we would not allow NATO to expand into former Warsaw pact countries. We broke that promise, and I believe that had a lot to do with the war in Ukraine.
Right now I would be great if the USA stopped all funding for the following NATO, UN, Red Cross. I would also like to see post war with Iran a path to the end of American aid to Israel.

I know what you mean, but the thing is they don’t have the equipment capable top train with. Look at the embarassment the British Navy turned out to be. Back when I was in the Tank Business the Germans could only field 18% of their MBT’s the rest were down for maintenance.
There’s been a Big Trend in training devices that allow you to interact all the way from a single Tank, to an entire Brigade with all Brigade assets. That sounds sexy as hell doesn’t it because you can go online and battle folks iun Korea or Germany.
You know what it doesn’t do? It doesn’t do the necassary preventive maintenance to keep the actual vehicles you will go to war with. Train with your Vehicles and constantly maintain them.

How after the two Germany’s reunited they absorbed a hell of a mess economiclly and enviromentally. They then decieded to shut down their Nuke Powerplants and coal fired plants and are now addicted to Russian Oil.
Now they can’t sell Cars and are looking at increased Tarriffs all while there market dropped from 10% to 4% of the World market.
So now they are facing economic problems along with massive layoffs.and increased inflation.
