This happens only because we allow it to happen. If people would actually sack up, grow a spine, and put their money with their mouth is we would see less of this blatant disrespect. Yea, be that guy. Speak out. For some reason when you do speak your mind, people look at you like you have two heads which is why most people are afraid to. Pussies. The reason we have half the problems we do now is because they’re aren’t enough people willing to take initiative and actually do something about the problems they bitch about everyday. If you don’t at least attempt to contact this asshole to convey your deep disdain and dissatisfaction for his recent actions, you are part of the problem. This is a slap in the face to everyone who has striven to make this country great including veterans and current military members. I try to imagine how I would feel if I heard about this story while slowly walking through Arlington. I would go absolutely apeshit, want someone’s head on a platter and have enough epinephrine coursing through my veins to probably make some bad decisions.
Or we continue with our current plan of action because we seem to be getting good results with it.

from a left of center stand point, i agree even CONSIDERING banning the united states flag from public dislpay is beyond ridiculous. i would even go as far as to say the only flags legal to display in public are the American Flag and each our our states/province’s flags. On private property, wave whatever you want. Or, if you must display national heritage to a nation other than america, in public, it must be on clothing not waving a flag.

Lots and lots of “actual people” who would gleefully ban the American flag from public schools. There are some who would even vote to make it a “hate symbol.”

i would add, ‘my’ restriction on flag waving would be limited to other nations’ flags. state’s flags, the american flag, and any Non-nation flag should be ayeOkaye, as wells as agency flags: ie. PD’s, FD’s, DHS’, etc flags.

I just wanted to share an observation that I made regarding the flag. I grew up in a military household (grandfather was retired Navy, father is retired Army, I am active Air Force). We have always flown a flag in front of our house. I can remember when I was little many of our neighbors did the same thing, and on base it was pretty much every house. Fast forward to today, I live on a Air Force installation and I think I can count on one hand the number of folks who fly a flag in front of their house. Things have changed quite a bit in the past 20 years. It makes me sad.

This is absilutly f*cked-up! My parents and I were born in the Soviet Union, but you will NEVER see a Ukranian of Soviet flag outside out houses! I cant fly a flag outside my front door due to stupid condo rules, but my parents have the US Flag outside their house all the time!

I think we are in for a bad ride guys. With this admin placing obamunists like Kagen in the supreme court they are stacking all odds in their favor. Even if we have a huge turn over in Nov, defund health care and attempt to overturn the damage they’ve done. Regardless of wether or not that poll was inflated by people running scripts, there’s still a vast majority of people out there who would openly welcome such a decision. It’s basically spitting in the face of anyone who has ever fought and given their life for what our flag embodies. Wether it be our not-so distant relatives who died laying the foundation for this country during the revolution or the troops in our present-day operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. So if something like this flag ban were to actually happen then what did these people die for? As bad as it sounds I’m actually kinda glad that they’re not around to see their sacrifices so blatantly disrespected and cast aside all so some libtards can tap into some key demographics come re-election time. Makes me sick… Well I haven’t forgotten what this country means and I will never forget the sacrifices that have been made in my name and yours.

If we clean up politically and essentially “start again” outside of the two party system then:
We hold open elections. Anyone who votes for the collectivist party gets collectivism. We take ownership of their homes, and give homeless families a room to live in, giving the owners only one room to live in. They will work in a hard labor environment when we jump start our industrial economy again, and they will only get enough food to live.
Sounds to me once people are reminded of the horrors of the Soviet economy (minus the mass graves of “saboteurs” and “class enemies”), we will see collectivism destroyed.
I fly a flag everyday and at night with a light on it, below the American Flag is the U.S. Marine Corps Flag since my son is serving in the Marines. We need to educate our children about our Great Nation and the great things we have done and our blunders, it is our history, we need to stop feeding them the B/S that schools are currently teaching them. I believe that teachers now work off a National curriculum and it is flawed, just look at who’s in D.C.!. The teachers in our schools and colleges are more left of the center then anything and pass their ideas to the children. If I had any kids in school I would take them out and home school them. I am all for legal immigration, not illegal alien invasion.
