Designed with versatility in mind, M-LOK slots at the two, six, and ten o’clock positions allow the attachment of optional Picatinny rail sections and other direct-attach M-LOK accessories for the mounting of tactical lights, slings, grips, etc. Reinforced, heat-resistant polymer construction provides operational durability without the weight and expense of an aluminum rail hand guard. I’m glad to see the midlength is shipping, I was surprised when the SL stuff came out that it wasn’t available in midlength. Will you be releasing it in rifle length soon?

It’s a numbers game, carbine length is still more prevalent than mid-length.

Is there going to be a version that will work with a triangle cap or does the SL design make that impossible?

These are in full production. Black was the initial release but colors should be out shortly.

So is there something about the design that requires a round handguard cap? If not, making it compatible only with round caps seems odd because most middies with A2 FSBs out there have triangular caps if I’m not mistaken.

*NOTE: The Mid-Length MOE SL Hand Guard is a direct replacement for most factory plastic, two-piece, mid-length hand guards and utilizes the existing ROUND front hand guard retaining cap and spring-loaded delta ring. Must be used with A2 front sight assembly; triangular retaining caps and other gas blocks are not compatible

If so equipped, the factory sling swivel must be removed from the A2 front sight assembly.

I’ll probably pick up a MOE Mlok to replace my legacy piece since I have the triangle front cap on my BCM middy. I’m a whore for Mlok now thanks to Geissele and ALG.

I’ve been anxiously waiting to place an order for one in OD, preferably from MidwayUSA because I have some credit. Any ETA from Magpul? Midway has no idea.
I haven’t seen any reviews or even pictures of them in the wild yet, either.
Man this has been long wait to finish my M&P10!
