Who can I send my upper to to shave the front sight to fit under a LaRue rail?
Hacksaw and Dremel tool; you can do it yourself. Re-phosphate the bare metal once completed.
Its a nice afternoon project, I have used High temp paint form Autozone to refinish too.
If you’re not handy, ADCO is a good place to send it. Otherwise, do it yourself like everyone else said. I mean, even if it’s ugly, it’s under the hand guard.

I agree this isn’t something I would ever send it to somebody or pay somebody to do. Basic hand tools and about an hour and you have a job you can be proud of. Buy ammo with the money you saved. If you must you can always trust ADCO.

Would that set up still out weight a low profile gas block? Even if you cut it down and got rid of the extras on the bottom side of the block?

It might weigh more but the reason is for durability… The fsb is pinned on where a lo pro gas block uses set screws.
