Still waiting for my US Palm grip and Mag, shipped today. Ace folder on the way also.

Mounted a Burris Fastfire on a Midwest Industries AK handgaurd.

So far I like it. It will need some slimline rail covers for sure.

The Burris does not cowitness with this setup but I might add the different top cover that will allow this later, only $35 so what the hell right.
I went with the Burris since I found one NIB local for a decent price $175. I want to try this out before stepping up and dropping mega bucks on a Trijicon RMR and I can always gun-cycle the Burris for another rifle/pistol later.

Overall its getting there albeit slowly.

Nice rail and optic! Will you be mounting a flashlight? How many rounds have you fired through your sgl21 so far? I’m still “VERY” much on the fence between this or some AR.

No time to shoot it yet. I may add a light (surefire scout) at some point.

Owing an AK as your only rifle is not a horrible choice, you could do a lot worse.

I assume no co-witness.

You’re gonna want some rail covers.

Yea - wish that the MI folks would make the same deal with ability to co-witness. It looks very nice - what is the weight like? Thanks.

The top cover that comes with the handaguard is generic and not optic specific.

They make several for other optics and some of these mounts allow cowitness.

The one for the Burris looks like the picture below and does allow for cowitness:

get both. that’s what i did, sgl 21 and colt 6920.
