So on a few other forums, I’ve seen people host threads for a weight loss “group” that spans from a month to another month. Motivation has been tough for me to get back in shape, so I think this might help. Is anyone else interested in tracking progress among members here? Any thoughts, ideas, or even naysaying is welcome.
Yeah sportstrack is good, plus it imports easily from my garmin.
When dieting make sure you aren’t losing more than about 1 1/2 lbs per week, any more than that and your likely losing to much muscle, just incase you didnt know. I have a bodyfat scale, their not 100% accurate, but they do a good enough job to determine if you losing fat and when you might be losing to much too fast.
Almost down to my first goal weight! I’m at 181, with a goal of 180. That’s down from a start weight of 204 back end of May 2011, and down from a high of 219 in April of 2010.
After I hit 180 I will reset my goal weight to 160, and see how it goes. I tell ya, it’s HARD losing weight when you’re over 40 and female…
