U.S. Attorney Dennis Burke leaked a sensitive document to the press regarding a whistleblower who had come forward with allegations of gunwalking … he leaked an internal memo regarding Fast and Furious suspect Jaime Avila to the New York Times, and … he lied to Deputy Attorney General James Cole,” Grassley’s release charges, adding. “The document leaked to Fox News was deemed so sensitive by the Justice Department that it was not provided to Congress, except in a secured room at department headquarters.”
Crediting Special Agent John Dodson as “the whistleblower who had the guts to come forward and tell Congress the truth about Operation Fast and Furious,” Grassely charged “The Inspector General confirmed that Mr. Burke went to great lengths to discredit Special Agent Dodson and Congress’ investigation into the gunwalking that led to the death of Customs and Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry.
A thing I’ve noted in the immediate aftermath of the scandal bonanza’s of last week, has been the observation how fast the leftist base transitioned from initial angst, to outright girlish giddiness, once it became apparent that the intended targets of Obama’s corruption, were just the enemies of national democratic socialism, namely tea party conservatives, it took just three days!
Translation: They are good with it, gun walking, snooping, ratting, jackboots, IRS political intimidation, DHS conservative modeled war-gaming, FEMA camps, democide, you name it, they are good with it! There’s almost nothing Obama, and the national democratic socialists can’t get away with, short of sacrificing babies to Baal…And honestly, it can be suggested that they already are sacrificing babies to Baal with impunity…
I wont be happy until bureaucrats start going to prison.
When’s the last time that actually happened? Seems to me like all they have to do these days is resign and everyone’s happy regardless of the severity of crimes.

None of this is surprising when you realize who Dennis Burke is, and who his friends are. He was Arizona Governor Napolitano’s chief of staff. After that he was her Homeland Security Advisor right up until the F&F story broke in 2009. That’s when BHO appointed him U.S. Attorney in Arizona. While he was U.S. Attorney he intentionally lied to the family of Agent Brian Terry about the 2 rifles found at the scene of his murder that came from F&F. He told them those weapons came from Texas and weren’t part of the F&F debacle, when in fact they were, and he knew it. He’s also pals with Gunrunnin’ Eric Holder and served on his AG Advisory Board until he was forced to resign in 2011. Just look at the people he’s been associating with, it’s no wonder he’s a criminal. That’s how he got all those jobs.
The most important thing to remember about Dennis Burke is this:
If it weren’t for Dennis Burke the 1994 Assault Weapons Ban would never have been passed. He had been a Policy Advisor in the Clinton administration and then an attorney on the Senate Judiciary Committee and he, along with his pal Rahm Emmanuel made it happen. He was able to take away the ability of law abiding citizens to own a legal semi-auto rifle for 10 years by using the legal system and when the citizens got those rights back he thought it was okay to run guns to Mexico in order to try and take those rights away again by other means.
You forgot lateral promotion in there.

I wholeheartedly agree that “Officials” need to be held to the same standards as citizens e.g going to Prison when offenses are committed.
Nothing burns me up more than thinking of all the Bankers who never went to jail over the '08 financial crisis or the Benghazi scandal, IRS scandal etc. Even people who agree just seem to laugh it off but it ain’t funny. Where’d the people who used to have balls go in this Country?

Yep, they’ve come out of the closet. They no longer have to hide who they truly are. Other than that it’s still just business as usual. I honestly can’t think of anything they could do that would cause their voter base to turn on them.
