I can’t believe the non-news story about the SEUI surrounding the bank officials house and the police refusing to remove them from private property. The police are afraid of provoking the mob? What kind decent into madness are we going into if you can’t control a mob in a middle class suburb? What is the tie between the local cops union and the SEIU? Would this had even made the news if Nena Easton from FoxNews wasn’t a neigbor.
What do you do when the mob comes for you and the police stand by? I’ll tell the cops they have 15 minutes to straighten it out or else I’m going out side and clear my property.
What do you think would happen if Tea Party people started descending on peoples houses? Would the press make it a non-story? Would the cops take a pass?
Disparity of force? I would be in fear for my family’s safety at that point in time. I’m not saying to go out shooting but what would your options be? They’re already destroying private property and trespassing.
Now this event would accurately be called a “protest” if it were taking place at, say, a bank or the U.S. Capitol. But when hundreds of loud and angry strangers are descending on your family, your children, and your home, a more apt description of this assemblage would be “mob.” Intimidation was the whole point of this exercise, and it worked-even on the police. A trio of officers who belatedly answered our calls confessed a fear that arrests might “incite” these trespassers.
The next time the Po-po gets in my face maybe I’ll just tell them to chill and not to incite me. Yea, that will work.
ammunitiontogo.com offers a legal ‘flash-bang diversionary device training system’ $140; and several colors of smoke grenades in rubber ball and canister form $40.
if I was a bank exec and that happened to me ?
I might take my family get them to safety after all those people might be trying to kill me and what if they caused a gas leak in my house !
would be a bummer if it happened would be even worse if it then blew up ! taking the whole angry mob with them !
Yeah but who plans for a crowd like this showing up on your lawn and not really presenting much of a threat but just trespassing and doing minor property damage?
Sounds like a nightmare.
If you were prepared for it it could be real entertaining I suppose, but probably ends up with them doing even more damage to your property while the cops look on:
500 people on my front lawn? I don’t have that many pair of handcuffs but I’ve got lots of rope and extension cords. I’d go out there and video myself telling them to leave and when they didn’t I’d start making arrests. And if any of them resisted… shame on them. This kind of shit really boils my blood. 500 people on your lawn are going to mess stuff up as well and then they aren’t going to be expected to pay for it either. Not at my house.
