Secret Compartment End Table

I might need to look into one of these. I just heard about them and I like the concept. I thought about trying to build something like this a while back, but I’m no cabinet maker. Sounds like he does custom work as well.

The problem with all of these hidden in plain sight security systems is the lack of fire protection. So, it is good for low value items such as a Glock, but not for valuables.

Right on I’d agree with that completely. It would have best application as a beside-the-bed home defense set up.

I don’t see that as practical for anything needed quickly, like a hand gun, but it would have been a great place to stash my Playboys when I was a teen. :cool:

That one is pretty obvious there’s a hidden compartment, I’ve seen better designs where the dead space of the hidden compartment is more subtle.

The one that I’ve always thought would be slick is the clock. Even with kids as long as they never saw you open it and put a gun in there you couldn’t tell it wasn’t a clock (it is actually a functional clock too).
