I used to live in the NW and dealt with Seattle PD alot when I was working bail bonds. Their leadership and mayors have always been POS’s.
I remember working a case where one of the deputy chiefs sons’ was my skip. He had over 50K in outstanding misdemeanor and felony warrants. I asked the parents several times to convince son to turn himself in. The father told me to fuck myself and tried to obstruct me every way possible. Ultimately I tracked him to a neighboring county and they were all to eager to assist in bagging him and rubbing some shit in the face of the SPD.
The Presbyterian Church and United Methodist Church have long supported gun buy back programs and the Brady Bill.
Hence the reason I view organized religion in a very dim light and why I left the Presbyterians a long time ago.
Check your church…you might be surprised at the left wing nonsense they support, like anti-gun laws and amnesty for illegal immigants.

That story about the lady who was trading in her father’s WW2
1911 so a “buyer” outside offered her $200 (double the $100 gift card they were offering inside) she turned him down wanting that gun destroyed.
He upped his offer to $300 and she sold it to him for $300.
Damn! L.A. and now Seattle, I really need to start attending these “buy back” events!
