Seattle area please,

Assume you are asking about Cascade? The rules are extremely permissive. The big one is that they want to make sure all bullets impact the berm (ricochets leaving the range have been a problem in the past). The only slightly annoying one is that you have to get “cleared” to shoot past 200 yards on the 600-yard highpower range (they don’t want folks who don’t know what they are doing dropping bullets through the roof of the 200 yard line) – took me a while to be able to make it there when somebody was there who could give me “the test”.

In general, its very permissive:

Want to shoot prone / or do position shooting – no problem.

Want to shoot your .50 – no problem.

Want to rapid fire – no problem (as long as you keep impacts on the berm).

Want to practice your IDPA/IPSC pistol shooting – I’ve never had problem finding an open bay.

There’s not an on-duty rangemaster, so the folks there self-police. Occasionally run into folks that make me shake my head a little bit, but never had an “issue” with anybody or had any safety concerns.

Here’s the rules from the website:

They do an orientation once a month so you can go check it out if you like before ponying up for membership (have to do the orientation if you want to join anyway).

…hope that helps.

Also wanted to add that if you can make it there early in the day during the week you can often have the whole place to yourself

I am a member of the NRA I did notice that part of the membership. and man if I had a 50 cal, I actually don’t have anything to say after that hahaha. Thanks for the look

Anytime!
