You know one can live with his testicles bouncing off his ankles when showering or my man-boobs tickling my belly button!

Now I can’t clean my weapons with Hoppe’s # 9 solvents the smell is just so friggin nauseating. Maybe time to RIP!

Does Hoppe’s make a non-nauseating solvent?

I used to love me some Hoppes 9, but now clean exclusively with Slip 2000/M-PRO 7 spray cleaner. Non toxic with almost zero odor.

Both are great and do a better job than Hoppes, IMHO.

Try Gunzilla. Totally non-toxic and safe.

Yes, the new non-toxic stuff really is amazing! I “used” to think that only petro solvents would clean the best, but time has proven this very wrong…

All my stink stuff has been trashed… RIP forever…

I use the blue water based cleaner from Brownells. Gets things CLEAN instead of just diluting the oil based grime that is there. You have to totally relube afterwards, but it cuts thru gunk like crazy.

Slip 2000 Carbon Killer is water based and may work better for you. It is very effective at breaking apart carbon buildup.
