Sorry for asking dumb questions. I see some AR’s with big scopes mounted and it seems the front sight is right in front of the picture. How can this seem possible? Doesn’t the front sight interfere with the view? I’m still in my learning stages on building my own. I did buy my stag lower. It’ll be a fun project. Also will be going with a RRA upper.
On a low power settting, you will see the Front Sight. On a higher power setting, it will just be a blur. Some people cannot stand it and some it doesn’t bother.

Generaly above 3 power you can’t see it until the sun reflects on the FSB, then I get some glare. For a high powered scope I prefer a milled FSB or flip up, it just gives me a cleaner sight picture.
For a low powered scope the LaRue 1.93 mount gets it above and with a 1.5-5 I couldn’t see the FSB at all.
I run the same set up as explained by TWR and see no FSB in the glass. Very happy with both the LT 104 mount and the Leup MK4 1.5x5
