Scope on Fixed Handle

I have robbed the mount off the M-223 and have the optic sitting in a box, poor thing. I have a Bushmaster fixed carry handle AR that I use just for KISS and iron sights.

What would be a good way to mount the scope to the carry handle?

I was thinking one of those rails that go in the hole on the handle then low mount rings.

Is this the elongated “L” with a leg that I usually see with RDSs??? Wouldn’t the carry handle rear sight get in the way? Unless you use some sort of riser…Chop the handle…:moil:???
