Hi All - I’m really having a great time with my Colt Match Target and would like to get some experience with a good scope. I joined a great club here in South Jersey that has a 300 yard range and really would like to get a good quality scope. Can anyone make any recommendations? The local gun shop has told me about some Nikon scopes, but that they are way understocked and they have no clue when they will be available. In the meantime, I thought I’d ask the experts for advice on this particular topic. Thanks in advance!

What is the purpose of the gun?
I have a couple of reasons for wanting the scope - primarily because I want to get better results when I shoot on the longer ranges (I don’t have the greatest eyesight) and admittedly secondly, I think that the scope gives a cool look to the weapon.
