Haven’t seen it yet, IIRC it was a limited release on the 19th, probably wait to rent it on BluRay.
Flame suit on, but I always enjoy Tom Cruise science fiction flicks. Waiting for this to be released on BluRay as well.

Watched Transcendence when is came out on DVD a week or so ago and liked it.
When I first saw a trailer for the Cruise film I was half paying attention and just kind of glanced at some future soldier in an exo-skeleton and was hoping someone would finally make a real Starship Troopers.
The movie was actually good for what it was-
I just wish it had been called Future Bug Fight or something and not been linked to the Heinlein novel.
It just was not the same spirit as the original book.
The source novel for the Cruise film had a very interesting and in my opinion original premise, using what has otherwise become a very dull and overused concept in sci-fi.
Have not seen the movie.
Apparently for home release it’s being titled, Live Die Repeat: Edge of Tomorrow. I’m just going to keep calling it Edge of Tomorrow, though.
I kinda regret not seeing it this summer. But then I usually only see one movie in theaters a year, have already watched two this year (and not likely to watch more), and watched five last year.
The book is called “All you need is kill”, which was pretty awesome, but not funny at all. There are many differences and the ending is completely different (the book doesn’t really “end” but is kind of open for a sequel while the movie is definitely a standalone thing), but it generally does follow the book.
