So im sure this will be dissapointing but has anyone heard anything about the pdw hk style stock?? Any one have one? Are there any foldable options other than the original stock? I know there is the vltor one but it doesnt fold right?

Vltor has one that just replaces the telescoping part of the stock. But I would guess that we would have heard of this ‘PDW’ stock if it were a decent option.
And the only thing that Google shows me are images of FN’s PDW-variant of the Mk16.
The OP is almost certainly referring to the FN factory part designed for the SCAR PDW prototype project. I’ve heard nothing to suggest that the SCAR PDW has gone to serial production itself; as such, I would be very surprised if the specialized stock has been manufactured in any numbers.
Although I have had the same question for the better part of a year, I’ve yet to see or hear anything about any PDW mods becoming available from FN. We’re still waiting on the factory barrel options for the 16s and 17s, quite honestly. I suspect there are some opportunities here for innovative third-parties, but given the engineering and up-front costs involved, it seems more likely that we’re going to be limited to the AR-stock conversion kits that are already on the market for the forseeable future. That’s a shame, too, because there would definitely be a market for a factory PDW stock clone.

Phil I second that…im a smaller guy so the acr failed me on that as well as being able to modify or add nothing. The scar allows me to change a little bit I just wish that some more lop options were available. As an instructor and opfor jedi mobility is as important as durability and dependability on the battlefield. Lightweight compact rifles that can still maintain barrel length for accuracy are a commodity in training and operational settings. I hope fn and mostly third parties can continue development. The market is definately there.
I just saw a Vltor scar replacement stock on gunbroker for about $95.
Plus the adapter to put any collapsable stock you want and the extended handrail.
