Is anyone else having as much trouble as I am getting factory SBR uppers?
BCM has continually released 14.5-16" uppers but no 11.5"s…I haven’t seen a single Noveske SBR upper since December.
Rainier Arms got a small batch of DD MK18’s last week but unfortunately I was driving and missed it.
C4? Forget about it.
Looks like my stamp is just going to sit here for the time being…
John Noveske has unfortunately passed away in an extremely mysterious one vehicle accident in early January.
As far as uppers and parts availability it is definitely hitting the entire realm of manufacturing as no one can keep up with demand. Including small parts suppliers to the major weapons manufacturers.
Sign up for the Daniel defense builder and they will email you when they can build one. I’m going that route.

It just came. I was looking for an upper for 2+ months. Just venting, that’s all.

I was lucky enough to have a MK18 upper from DD finally ship to me after 6 months of waiting.
A few 416 uppers as well.
All in preparation for the F4 approval of a factory KAC 11.5SBR.
I think they have atleast one 11.5 at the time of this posting…and they are great to work with!
I was replacing my SBR 10.5" upper and looking for a Noveske 10.5 SB when the craze happened, so I had to make my own - VLTOR upper, BCM BCG, Noveske SS 10.5 barrel, and Troy rail. Not exactly what I wanted at the time but it’ll do and I couldn’t stand it not being together.

I called Daniel Defense this morning to see how the backlog for the custom builder was…somehow got off topic and it turns out they had ONE extra MK18 upper. I snagged it up! Should be here within the next 4 weeks, they also said all other MK18 uppers will now be backordered until June 10 if you order from DD.
Now…onto my 18" Noveske SPR build… 
Specilized Armament has Colt 10.3 MK18 uppers in stock. Ordered mine on last Friday and it arrived yesterday. True Colt MK18.
I ordered ten 30-round magpul mags from US Calvary in early Dec. - On backorder for 9 months they tell me. Been looking for uppers as well and cannot find any. The stuff I do find is priced double what it should be.
Now that is what I call pure luck or good karma. 
I see these on Gunbroker for no less than a 25% premium over what DD is asking.
I took delivery of a 10.5" LWRCI M6A2 upper March 13th which I ordered online from Northwest Tactical January 26th.
Why not just build one? I have built several SBR uppers for people. There are barrels, uppers and parts available when you shop around.
