SBR Paperwork: Moving to a new city

I currently live in a city in Texas where the sheriff signs off on paperwork without any issues, I’ve been here for about four years. I have been planning on building an SBR for a few months now. I have my lower engraved and the paperwork pretty much all finished aside from the signature.

My problem is that I just graduated from college and will soon (a month or so) be moving back to my home town which is still in Texas but the CLEO’s are not as NFA friendly so I plan on going the trust route once there.

My question is can I get the paperwork signed here and submit it before moving back and call or e-mail the person processing it and notify them of the address change?

I don’t think it should be an issue since it’s in the same state but I just want to be safe. Thanks.

Do the trust now and put it in there. Once you move simply send them a letter and advise them of your new address. This is known as the KISS method.
