After my problem with my new Noveske 11.5" Switchblock barrel not working with the Centurion rail I ordered I switched things up and dropped the cash for a carbine length VIS.

Upper:
Vltor Carbine length VIS
Noveske 11.5 SS Switchblock barrel
AAC MITER mount
BCM BCG
Gunfighter CH
KAC Front and rear micro BUS
H1 in a KAC mount
X300 light
Larue FUG
Larue index clips
AAC SPR/M4 suppressor

Lower:
Mega billet lower
Geissele SD3G trigger
BAD-ASS selector
Vltor A5 buffer system
Magpul STR
Magpul MOE-K

Most parts used, I would consider ‘one of’ if not ‘the’ best in its class.

Is the backwards KAC mount intentional? So the throw lever is on the ejection port side?

Yeah I switched it after the pics. I had it on the left side before but the upper bracket ended up being backwards. All straightened out now, thanks!

Very nice, I am going with the 11.5 as well and also have an SPR-M4 to mount on it.

My hand guard choice is the Apex machine for the same reason that you have chosen the short carbine style… access to the Switchblock.

How’s that Mega lower locking up with the VIS? I want to ditch my Spike’s lower for a Mega, Vltor, or Noveske FFL and I’m kind of torn.

I love the Mega lower, only downside is slightly heavier but thats with all billet receivers.

Locks up nice and tight with the VIS, didn’t have to adjust the tension screw at all.
