Yeah, if you have a Cal DOJ “dangerous weapons permit”. Otherwise, you’re SOL. On a completely different topic, I hear you can get an AOW here in Cali if you design a gun trust.

I used to live in Kalifornia and I am fairly certain that SBR’s are not allowed, except for military and police.
I used to live in the People’s Republik of Kalifornia, and SBRs, and suppressed weapons are a no-go.

Im a Police Officer in California and Im going through this delema right now. I would really be glad to here anyones prior experiances. The problem in this state is DOJ is just a bunch of paper pushers, with no field experiance. I feel for the gun owners in this state because believe me when I say, when dealing with DOJ every Police Officer gets treated the same as any Joe Blow Civilian on the street.
We can’t even have detachable mags on AR’s that have “EVIL FEATURES” if they are centerfire (i.e. not rimfire .22)

I moved from California 22 years ago, and one big reason was gun laws. They were bad then, now they are completely draconian. I had not heard that you can’t even have a 22 rimfire with a detachable mag. What about the ruger 10-22?? Is that one banned now as an evil firearm? Damn I’m glad I live in Florida now, the beaches are just as good, and the gun laws are great! California, I never want to go back!
I misspoke you can only have detachable with “evil features” if it is rimfire.
