Are they a reputable company on ALL their products or are they like del-ton? I’m looking at their retro stuff thats their A1 parts. Any one know anything about their ordering and customer service?
I’ve been buying parts from Sarco since the late 1980s and they always treated me right. I mostly bought FAL parts and kits and they were as advertised. Once or twice I was missing a part and called them and they shipped the part ASAP on their dime. They’re still trying to catch up with all of the Holiday orders so ship times are not as fast as usual. Usually if the part says currently available then it’s safe to order but if you have a doubts give them a call.
I stop in there periodically. Their gun prices can be, umm…“Unrealistic” when they have something they think is special, but their C&R selection is great. They have good ammo deals and tons of parts. Most of the AR and 1911 parts look very generic and are usually unmarked. I think the AR bolts and carriers I’ve seen are usually Colt mfd surplus, but have seen some use. The M-16 parts kits that I saw were Colt, though.
I wouldn’t worry about ordering from them. They’ve been around a long time, and everyone knows them.
If you mean their 1911A1 parts, those are all manufactured by Rock Island Armory. I’m local to them so I’ve never ordered from them, I usually stop in and pick up what I need if they have it.
I meant ar-15 a1 parts
Some of the stuff I’ve seen from them is vintage Colt, others are newly made DPMS.
