Has anyone even received a Sandman Suppressor yet?

I have had 2 on order since January 2015 and haven’t received a thing.
My dealer tells me that they haven’t even shipped any out from the factory yet… Five months seems like a long time for him to receive a Form 3.

Just curious if anyone else is having a long wait time…

We have a few on a show order from January that I haven’t heard anything about yet. These are coming through distribution so I’m not expecting them until at least mid summer.

I’ve yet to even see any stock available through distributor channels at this point.

I was told earlier this week they’d only shipped 40 cans out so far. Not sure which model.

I was referring to retail distributor channels like RSR Group, Lipseys, Acusport, etc.

They’re my primary sources of NFA inventory.

Accusport was accepting orders during their show in January but I haven’t seen any available as in stock product. I’ll find out if the ones we ordered are pending Form 3 yet.

I am thinking of buying a suppressor. SpecWar and SD-N and Omega have been the front runners for me thus far. I had not heard of Sandman until seeing this thread, I did a little web reseach and these look like good cans and within my budget. Why have you guys gone with Sandman instead of the competition?

I just learned of the Sandman today when I met and spoke with a member of the company. They’re made by some of the founding members of Silencerco, so they know what they’re doing. They’ve created a new mounting system that seems solid. I was told that one of the big focuses was to reduce sound at the shooters ear. A lot of companies are focused on decibel level at the muzzle which can result in it being louder at the ejection port, where it really matters. The Sandman cans are a little louder at the muzzle, but they’re quieter at the ejection port. I was told that was one of the big focus points on building a new model.
