Nice video! I heard a shout out to Jimmy Oliver!
Indeed. Great products!
Well said SamsonPro, I don’t just view 3G as a competition. I view it as training. If I find something that’s works in competition then it has to be applicable to the real world. Yes it is competition and yeah it is an absolute blast but I’ll never have dedicated rigs and rifles solely for 3G. My handgun I shoot with is my daily carry. My rifle I shoot 3G with is one that sits by my nightstand. Can one be faster with certain modifications? Yep but, for myself, it goes against my reason for doing competition; making it as realistic as possible. Now the shotgun…entirely different story. ![]()

@Jax:
That has always been the goal for me. It has to translate. It is like running a marathon. If you are doing it for the pure enjoyment of the sport than go ahead and make all the sacrifices you need to in order to feel fulfilled. But I compete as way to stay current and fresh. A way to push myself. combat shooting has to cross over or it isn’t doing me any favors. I am never going to win a national 3 gun title. But some day my life might depend on a special mix of accuracy and efficiency under the pressure of time.
Very well said. I completely agree with you and Jax, I enjoy the hell out of 3gun from a pure competitive standpoint, but I use my everyday go to guns & equipment. It has to translate to improving my speed and accuracy for defensive purposes.
Great video, thanks!!!
