Went to the gunshow this weekend and left my M14S with Gus from Gus’ Garands…I am having him unitize the gas system, install hooded NM sights, tweak the trigger group, tighten a few parts here and there…and finally refinish it. I basically want to accurize the rifle and make the finish look even. He checked my GI plastic stock and it fits real tight so no need to spend mega bucks with glass bedding or getting one the precision stocks out there…Since I am not using glass no need to go for overkill there. I am sad as it will be late September when I will get it back…I miss it already…
