I am considering ordering a DSA Tactical carbine w/folding stock.I already have one of their standard carbines which I think is a great rifle. My question is are there any issues with the shorter gas system or anything else about this carbine that I should know about that would make me change my mind or order another model?

The Tactical has the short gas system, and it is excellent.
The Tactical is great. I have the DSA OSW with 11" barrel, you will love it. Just be prepared for a long wait.
RIK how long is the barrel on your FAL? I thought mine was short.
That’s not mine. But the barrel is reportedly 7 inches.
That 11" shortie DSA looks good.
I have been thinking about the 11" DSA for awhile now. I just sent off another Form1 for an AR maybe I should get the process for the FAL going.

It took me 6 months to get it from DSA, and that was way before the frenzy.
Picked up a SA58TACP 16" with night sights in December. Great rifle, you won’t be disappointed.
