I received my Troy MCS stock (chassis only) about a week ago and I put my SA M1A in last Thurs. It’s a standard length H&R USGI barrel and I bought it new in 2002. Except for poor pics in the instructions, I had no problems. Everything fit without a struggle and by accessing the instructions online, the poor printing was easily overcome. I have a Hogue grip with a non-folding ACE A2 length skeleton stock on it and I mounted a Bushnell 5-15X40 Elite 3200 Tactical scope. I’m waiting for a Smith Vortex to replace the stock FH to finish it off. I’ll probably get a MagPul MBUS sight set for backup. All in all, one of the easiest mods I have ever done.

I like that alot more than the Sage contraption. How much weight does this stock add? Nice looking gun.

Thanks ! I don’t know the weight of the MCS. I’ll see if I can find out.

Do you think it’s worth doing this on my National Match? What is the performance like? Have you noticed an increase in accuracy?
