Dale Frickie AIWB holster here. Much more comfortable than the CompTac Minotaur I got for my 9mm compact. The Shield conceals quite well!

it was designed to be used OWB but I use it IWB with perfect satisfaction…
I am using the Comp-Tac MTAC. As a lefty, I wear it at eight o’clock.
I specifically purchased the AIWB models (bought one for the PPQ as well) as I have come to prefer a zero (to a very minimal) cant and the AIWB version works well in this role as an IWB holster. It feels (and the gun rests) much like Mexican carry, but, WITH a holster. I discussed doing this with the Comp-Tac rep and am glad that I went this route. It has worked out very well for me.
I have used the MTACs for 1911s, Glocks, H&Ks, M&Ps and Walthers since about 2005. I just cannot run a solid Kydex holster IWB after running these. I have two Raven type clones and they just sit in a box as the hybrid Comp-Tacs are much more comfortable for me.
ZCS Concealment (formerly Hideous Holster) has a Shield holster as their “Holster of the Week” (at $19.99). I have one of their holsters for my HK P2000 and have been happy with it. I don’t even have a Shield yet but went ahead and ordered one for when I do get one.
I had a inkling to buy one of those before especially for though price bit I noticed they no longer list them as a stocking item on the new site so I wonder if Steve intends on bringing them back. Smoking deal at 60$ IIRC.

Same here . I have mine set up for IWB and I am happy with it.
I don’t know. I have one and I like it but I have tried several emails to Steve about the mag holder that is loose and different cuts and have yet to get an answer.
I know he had trouble with health, the website/email, etc… (about 2 weeks ago he emailed me and apologized about no response) but even after this and I replied at several different contact locations from them, still no resolution.
I’m beginning to wonder what’s going on… 
recently got lucky and found a Shield for MSRP.
looking into RCS for a holster.
Would I have to buy “more accessories” to run the phantom as IWB? Or will if convert with the hardware that it already comes with?

I use a Garrett Silent Thunder IWB. I haven’t used any other holsters with the shield, but I have used a Silent Thunder OWB, a Dale Fricke OWB, and several other crap holsters with other pistols (for clarity I don’t think the ones I mentioned are crap. The ones I consider crap I do not name). Here’s what I like about the one I have for the Shield:
I like the leather lining. It’s quiet and draws feel smoother to me than straight Kydex. I like the Kydex outer for the stiffness and ease of re holstering. The other big thing I like about the holster and the Kydex outer is the flexibility in mounting. It is adjustable for cant (not fully but a little fore and aft) and also in ride height with a low, mid and high option. Different styles of clips are available as well, I have used standard and the J’s, but don’t really have a preference yet.
As a relative newcomer to CCW I have been practicing draws and re holsters regularly as well as trying different cants and ride heights. I like the way this holster has allowed me to switch up several things to see what I like without spending the coin on numerous makes. The only con I can really think of is that a leather exterior could be more comfortable than kydex after a long day. I have gotten used to mine and while I do notice it it’s not uncomfortable enough that I would want to change it right now.
That’s my 2 cents and YMMV. Hope that helps though. Love my Shield, glad I got on a list and got one quick as I haven’t seen any for sale in some time.

I think we have a strong line up and stock amount for the Ready Now launch - but understand it will only support the most popular models at this time. There should be a lot less issues with the new webstore as well, in regards to accurate stock management on our end.
Price may be slightly higher, simply because PerSecSystems.com (vs psholsters.com) brings more to the table in regards to materials and included items. We’ve also become pretty good at Kydex over the years, so I personally think our quality is one of the highest among first line gear manufacturers.
The M&P Shield will be one of the supported Ready Now models at launch.

I’m going to jump in and qualify some statements I made previously re: the Compact Cut holster for the Shield. I have been in contact with Steve since my last post and we’ve identified a couple issues with the Compact Cut which have resulted in the new designs he is speaking of.
Just so you know, I was VERY satisfied with the Compact Cut holster and mag carrier I got from him but it was basically an OWB design. he called me and told me his new design was better for IWB and offered to send me the new stuff to evaluate.
I’ve been wearing the new design IWB for about a month now and I have to say he was right. He also sent me some of his belt attachments and again, very nice…
Something I want to mention - the difference between “good” and “very good” is in details too small to be obvious when you first take the holster out of the package. Visually, these two holsters are not much different and they need to be worn over a period of time to understand the nuances. I compared these two holsters back to back over the course of a few weeks and the new design is actually very much better than the old.
I’ve worn a gun every waking moment/7 days a week for better than 20 years now and have a significant collection of all brands and types of holsters. Anybody can slap two pieces of Kydex together and call it a holster but these slight differences, or nuances as I call them, distinguish those at the top of the food chain. And this only comes from developing a product and being willing to continually evaluate and improve it. Through several conversations I’ve had with him, I’m learning that these design elements are part of the holster maker’s art and IMO, this is what separates the top makers from the rest.
I’m not going to lie, in my last post I was a little disappointed with the communication I had with PERSEC but I have since come to understand some personal issues that Steve has had to endure. What he has done since, in both personal email and phone conversations has shown me that this is a guy who is very much committed to his customers and his art.
Unfortunately, I’m not good with camera stuff so Steve, if you’re keeping tabs here, would you mind posting some pics of the gear I’m talking about? It’s really nice stuff and again, if I had not had it in my hands, I would have not known how much difference a subtle change can make…
I’ve used a "Galco TR474"for some time with my Shield and it works well. It depends on how much you want to spend. You can buy this holster for under $40.00 all day long. It is a Kydex type which holds its form for reholstering IWB (one handed) and is easily clipped onto anything you need (like you pants, belt, vest, etc. It also will fit the M&Pc series pistols and is advertised for the 9c or .40c but will work on the Shield. I have a phantom which I can carry OWB in virtually any garment and it looks like nothing is there. I also have a Remora if I need deep concealment or want appendix carry.
