S&W M&P 15-22 buffer tube size?

I am thinking about a S&W M&P 15-22 in the future and changing the stockout and would like to know what size is the buffertube?

Opps… mis-read the post. The below info is for the M&P sport (5.56) rifle, not the 22 cal LR.

If you have a “Compliant” version (MA, NJ, CT, etc.) and have the pinned stock, you get a Commercial buffer tube. The OD is 1.17.
