S&W Model 686 Distinguished .357 Combat Magnum Revolver with AFP2331 serial number, left S&W factory in Nov 84 - Feb 85. SCSW puts production sometime from Nov 1984 to Jan 1985. Amazing double action and single action trigger, very short, crisp and light. In 2010 the 686 was returned to S&W for the “M” stamp for the firing pin bushing modification and a satin, glass bead blasting refinish. Has Pachmayr SK-Gripper Professionals grips installed. Original owner claimed less than a “few hundred rounds”. The flame cutting is minimal. I can email additional photos.
