I am going to get the barrel of my S&W 15-22 threaded by ADCO for one of my 18-tooth black out mounts for my M4-1000 supressor. Have considered having them cut and perm the FH to make the barrel OAL 16" (giving it a shorter profile with the FH but without going NFA). Do you think this is possibly too detrimental? If I have the FH perm attached, the only way the barrel is ever coming off again is to remove the permed black out (possibly destroying it in the process).
Any advise is appreciated.
