So with limited rail space on an SBR I’m planning to run the flashlight in a place that will put the end of the flashlight in front of the muzzle.
Who runs this kind of setup and what, if any issues are there? Certainly after lots of rounds the lens will get dirty and maybe some heat signature on the light but neither of these bother me.
The light is a Surefire Scout. I don’t have the barrel and flash suppressor yet but I’m anticipating the light to stick about 1-1.5 inches past the end of the muzzle.
The gun will be a 10.5 inch barrel with a Battlecomp 1.0 on the end.
Anybody have pictures of similar setup? The light under my M&P pistol sticks beyond the muzzle and it’s held up well but there’s a big difference between .40 S&W and 5.56mm.
