Well here we have it. I am curious to see the overall quality.
On the surface they appear to be using good components.

To me the most interesting thing is the 4 position chrome plated gas regulator. Pistons, pistons, pistons; everyone has pistons on the brain.
We’re in a mental recession.
1/9 twist with a commercial dimension tele stock.
Honestly, I think it’s a good thing…
Even if most of us won’t buy them, when traditionally Fudd companies like Remington and Ruger bring out AR systems…it’s a paradigm shift.
Is this going to be the first AR with “PLEASE READ INSTRUCTION MANUAL BEFORE USE” or have there been others?
Chrome lined barrel.
Piston operated.
Troy rail, rail covers, and BUIS.
Hogue grip.
Pmags.
Chromed bolt.
At least they are offering big name quality components that someone on here would use to build their rifle. I just don’t know about Ruger’s legendary rugged reliability.
agreed. i hope rgr sells a ton of them, making the ar even more “in common use.”
Maybe it might force Bushbasterds to get off there a$$ and release the ACR:D
Ruger should have made it a DI gun, the AR world needs another piston AR like it needs more libs…
LOL. maybe RGR will sell a DI “retro” fit kit ![]()
That’s post recall ! ![]()
I wonder if it comes with a UPS call tag?
Yep.
Too many pistons on the market and only a few will survive.
VHS vs. Beta
I wish there were piston aRs at DI prices…sorry, piston fan here.
lol THAT WOULD BE NICE!!
hefty price tag
Interesting…the more the merrier. The components are not bad though…Troy…Pmags…etc… Went to the website (slowwww…), didn’t see any msrp
ouch
$1,995 if you look closely at the picture posted earlier
Ooops…ah I see it…that tiny blur on the lower right…thx
