Ruger 10/22 with Spectre--how do I get there from here

Hey guys,

I have a Ruger 10/22 carbine. I have a Spectre. I want to get a lightweight threaded barrel for it. None of them seem to have sights. Any solutions?

Also, for when the can is on I will certainly need a sight. Any low-cost dot sights out there worth fooling with. I want to avoid shelling out the $$$ for an aimpoint if possible.

Yeah that is a sweet combination, but Greg mentioned he wanted to keep the stock sights.
Also there’s something to be said for a sweet old sporter in a walnut stock. If it’s just a fun suppressed plinker, why not just thread the barrel, mount the can and shoot the gun?
