Rudy Project Rydon ImpactX Photochromic clear.

I ordered these a few weeks back and just got to try them out. All I have to say is WOW. I really did forget that I had them on once I started shooting. Vision, comfort and quality rate an A+ in my book. The Photochromic clear worked great on this overcast day. For those of you with a small ugly mug like mine the Rydon is not to big at all. I was concerned about the frame size and Chris Lupo said they would be fine. I am glad that I listened to him. Chris answered all my stupid questions and was great to deal with. The 40% off was a hell of a deal. It comes with a plastic case that will hold extra lenses also. When the sun comes out a little more I will try the extra pair of Red Photocromic lenses. Great product!

How did you get 40% off. I’m interested in buying a pair and would definitely like to get a discount.
Thanks

I’m working on a review of some Rudy Project equipment now and so far I’m very impressed.

The link is on the home page of the Vicker’s Tactical website. I think it is still good.

One thing they need to do it make a Rydon kit with the different ImpactX lenses. It would be a big seller.

I’ve also been working on one during spare time. Chris is an absolute pleasure to deal with and Rudy Project are putting out an amazing product.

There are some things that are hard to capture in a review - such as the comfort and lens quality. I have two pairs that I send to trusted customers to “test drive” and it almost always ends with them ordering a pair.

When you consider the ease of changing lenses (10 seconds) - you can have both the best sunglasses and the best shooting glasses with one purchase. I can honestly say these are a much higher quality, more comfortable, and superior lens quality to my old favorite Oakley FlakJacket XLJs.

I’ll touch more in the review - but the Vickers code is a hell of a deal for those on the fence. Rudy is one of the few companies I’d stake my own company’s reputation on by saying they are 100% good-to-go.

I wanted to post a few quick shots. If you use the red tinted lenses (which also adjust to lighting conditions) then it makes your Red Dot / Illuminated scope reticle jump out.

I wanted to put some pictures up on here - since it may be some time before I get a full review done. This feature would be great for LEO / MIL who go from a sunny outdoors to a dark indoors. Or from a dark night to a brightly light room.

The test. EOTech XPS2 with Rudy Genetyk - Dry Erase board with green marker (to show Green is still visible *hope I didn’t break advertising rules :D).

EOTech - Standard Power in brightly light room - no Rudys

EOTech - Standard Power - Rudys

EOTech - Turned down 3 clicks - No Rudys

EOTech - Turned down 3 clicks - Rudys

EOTech - Turned down to just visible - no Rudys

EOTech - Turned down to just visible - Rudys Added

I hope these crappy photos may help someone looking for a pair of glasses to take into harm’s way…

That is one hell of a difference! I can’t wait to try my Red Photocromic lenses with my T-1.

The Red Photochromic are an awesome pair to I must say. I’ve been using those sets up here in the PNW since getting them. Night driving doesn’t even bother my sight the least bit with them on. Overall on the Rudy Projects = Excellent!

Hopefully you can get some better pics. lol. I really needed a tripod - since it’s hard enough to get a shot of the reticle - much less hold the camera steady.

The first set of pics shows how well it makes the reticle “jump”. It almost takes on a glowing effect.

I have been running the Rudy Project Noyz package for about 3 months now. I absolutely love these glasses.

I have the Rudy Project Noyz Matte Black With Impactx Photochromic Clear, Photochromic Red And Laser Black Lenses. The red is amazing in low light or overcast conditions. The clarity of the lenses are amazing. I can attest to the above EoTech pictures. These glasses are phenomenal. They have amazing LE pricing.

Noyz Impact X three lens set

None of you wear muffs for shooting do you?
I’ve not been able to find pair which will seal properly around the arms. Maybe you haven’t noticed
I bought the clearm (as the OP bought) for winter riding and shooting glasses and am a bit over Max RX on the inserts. Quite happy with them. Some distortion but less than I thought being over spec.
Good glasses but the arm shape and the angle they stick out at is not perfect for my use. OTOH, they are cheap
I will be buying more lenses once I can find someone who is happy to ship here.

I wore my Noyz with Impact X Photo Red yesterday for the first time. I had them under muffs for approx 4 hours while shooting and helping RO a IDPA Classifier. It was a really nice, bright sunny day here in the South.

I LOVE THESE GLASSES.

I have a Impact X Photo Clear lens set as well but haven’t tired them.

+1 for a Rydon kit. Ordered Rydon carbon ( oos ) and grey polar for driving and racing red for shooting . Anyone know diff bwtn laser red vs. racing red? Thanks . Will this frame fit smaller face? Asian. Thanks .

Forgot to say thanks for discount code found it on vickers .
