I’m curious at what round count accuracy starts to degrade. I tried sighting in my new TR24 with Monarch 55 gr. soft point, but the best groups I got at 50 yards was around two inches. I figure my LMT should be plenty capable of shooting one inch or less at that range. I’m going to try again tomorrow with Prvi 69 gr. HPBT and 75 gr. HPBT Hornady “training” ammo. In my last outing I started with a clean gun and only shot 140 rounds. Do I need to clean it prior to shooting tomorrow for the best possible accuracy? I wouldn’t think so, but wanted to check as it ain’t cheap to shoot these days.
