Good Afternoon Mr. Vickers,
I just watched the episode of TAC TV featuring the HK416 and the civilian MR556. Now I know you were involved in the development of the 416 at least to some extent. The episode was very informative and well done as always. The question I had was with all the rumors of one of the lead designers(or whatever he supposedly was) of the 416 going and helping Sig Sauer develop the 516 what makes the HK worth the extra money?
Why would someone without any real world operational experience(ala me) if I wanted a piston operated M4 platform rifle what would make them pick the HK over the Sig?
