I had to return the PDW prototype upper yesterday. I desperately wanted to keep it and nearly cried when I left without it
On the upside, I snapped some pics of some other stuff I thought was interesting. I also saw the XCR pistol, SCAR-ish stock and was told 1/7 barrels will be a permanent option soon. Nitride barrels are in the mix as well.
Here is the ambi mag release. It’s raw and crude because its just a prototype, but I liked the feel of it.
Here is a nitride treated barrel, not that you can tell, and experimental sediment like finish.
Here is the very first XCR intended for the SCAR solicitation. It definitely trails the current iteration

This is a raw, production version of the XCR PDW upper. Notice the vent holes.
Also in the pic is the PDW prototype upper mated to a 16" barrel.
