Fail on so many levels. It is my understanding there was a toddler in the SUV too. I teach SC CWP classes and one of the biggest things that people seem to have a hard time grasping is the difference between being a victim of an assault and bearing a gun in defense vs mutual combat and bringing a gun into play. Discussions usually revolve around vehicles and road rage that students have experienced in the past.
I try to beat it into their heads that when you have a gun, you have to take the high road. You cannot go around trying to be Billy Badass because someone cut you off, flipped you a bird or even threw a dip spit cup at your vehicle while driving. I hate it for this family as they are about to enter a world of suck, but daddy bear should have just let it go.

Isn’t it obvious? He thought he had the size advantage and he was gonna beat the shit out of two kids and impress his wife. If they got the upper hand he could always shoot them and say when he stopped to talk to them, they attacked him in force and he had to shoot to defend himself as he was outnumbered.
Luckily, this guy forgot that it is no longer the 1990’s and now everyone has a decent camera on them, all the time. He got filmed attacking some kids and when they defended themselves he pulled a gun! They even backed off after they tossed him on the ground. It’s not like they were curb stomping him and trying to beat him to death.
What’s sad is that city-liberal folk see this video and say “this is why people shouldnt carry a gun. All it takes is for someone to get mad, and then someone dies. If he didnt have a gun this wouldnt happen”
If he didnt have a gun he would’ve pulled a bat or a crowbar or a knife and smashed their heads in/sliced em up.

I shudder to think of what might have happened if someone in the lead car had been carrying and pulled on the guy. Would the wife have come out guns blazing…?
What an idiot. It’s traffic dude, let it go. I’ve been cut off and I’ve accidentally cut someone off, hell, I even had an Illinois State trooper in a marked unit cut me off once. He didn’t see me, it happens.

LMAO…the perps look like they are in their Sunday church clothes. Watching that video it looks like the guy was getting back into his car when his wife shows up with the handgun. She shows up with it and he decided it was a good idea all the sudden. Stupid.

Okay I watched both videos and read the article which is in fact two different articles combined. I’m confused on one thing. The wife handed the gun to her husband, at no time did I see her point it at anyone nor did she fire any shots. So am I too assume she had pointed the gun at the teens when she was off camera?
Also, is sounds like he had a ND when he first took hold of the gun?
The whole situation is FUBAR and good on the kids for recording it.
