I doubt he’ll get 60k more signatures in less than a week, but it’s worth a shot.

“Removal of suppressors as an NFA regulated item would eliminate the $200 tax stamp, eliminate legality and travel issues between states, reduce hearing safety concerns related to discharging firearms, and would help people be courteous neighbors when discharging firearms.”
I wasn’t aware there was any “legality and travel issues between states” concerning suppressors other than state laws which removal of cans from NFA regulated items on the federal level would not help?
I’m not a lawyer, but seems like he needs a better argument. Leading with removing the $200 tax stamp seems like govt type would immediately think “loss of revenue, why should we do that?” Seems like it needs a statement that a suppressor is a paperweight without a firearm, and firearms are already subject to regulation. Just my 2 cents. But hey, would love to see them come off of NFA regs.
Loss of some of the so called “justification” of a Corrupt Federal Agency’s existence, more like it…
Incessantly pointing out NFA items and a wide interest in those items to this admin will not have the effect we think it will.
this admin is a friend of NFA items… I see them at silencer shoots all the time
Doesn’t know that you need ATF permission to cross state lines with NFA items, and sees Barry at silencer shoots all the time…?
In this context, Admin doth not mean site admin homey

cans require no permission… all other stuff yes
from the ATF NFA handbook
Section 13.8. Requesting permission to transport certain firearms in interstate or foreign
commerce. A person, other than an FFL/SOT, may not lawfully transport in interstate or foreign
commerce any destructive device, machinegun, short-barreled shotgun, or short-barreled rifle, without
prior written approval of ATF, specifically the NFA Branch.
ive seen barry at a couple of carbine and pistol classes… good dude
Notice what else isn’t on the list…AOWs.
Same info on the 5320.20, and suppressors/AOWs aren’t listed there, either.
