Does anyone know of a scabbard or case that would fit a 11.5" or a 14.5" AR on the driver’s side like the old GI Jeep ones? I can’t find one except for the big plastic ones for hunting rifles. I need something smaller and allows easier access.
Messed with this, preferring bolt-on gun hooks to any uprights/roll bars. Also, just lashing the right size soft case to the roll bars or inside. The plastic scabbards are slow access, in the way, and seem to mostly suck, being designed to sell accessories and meet “fully enclosed” laws.
Yes, I’m not really seeing anything but the hard cases either, and I haven’t found any bolt on hooks that I thought would secure the rifle very well. Ive just found those rubber things meant to hold the rifle or bow horizontally on a four-wheeler or something. I’ll do some further research, though. I hadn’t thought of lashing a soft case to the roll bar, but I’ll give it a try. Thank you!
