i’m looking at getting a case to hold a couple of sbr’s.
any suggestions?
Pelican. You can customize the foam to fit what you need should you want to.
Cheaper Than Dirt carries a variety of soft rifle cases. The maker is Condor. Chinese made but outstanding value for the money. I have their single M4 cases and one for the M1A, plus various bags.
i would prefer a hard case

what would be a good size for a 10.5", 11.5" and a few mags?

You can get a 10.5", two 30rd mags and optics in a Pelican 1495 laptop case.
I have a pelican 1700 gun case and love it. I can fit my Colt 6920 and SA M-7R (with the longer NATO length butt-stock) in it no problem. So you shouldn’t have any trouble with your sbr’s. They also have alot of other options and you can even make your own custom fit case with their “pick n’ pluck foam”. I think it’s definately worth the money.
